Yes, a check. I thought I was hallucinating. This is a first for me. It's only 15 bucks. I thought it was another bill when I was opening it. There's no explanation other than refund.

Hey, it's not a case of M&M's, but it works for me :)

3. If its a mutual insurance company

could be a rebate against your premiums since excess funds are sometimes given back to the shareholders who, in a mutual company, are the subscribers.

5. It's actually from the ob/gyn
I just had a baby end of last year, and even though we're insured, we had to pay quite a bit out of pocket.

4. Had you paid for something that was suppose to be covered?
That has happened to me a couple times. It makes me wonder though if there were times that they didn't refund my money. With my insurance, it is confusing what I am really suppose to pay. For example, some medical tests are completely covered where as some are only covered partially.

6. It doesn't say.
I have to assume that it's something like that. I'm just glad it wasn't another bill. For months after we had the baby, we had them coming in even though we were insured. Half of them were supposed to be covered, but the insurance company kept fighting us on them, and we finally just paid them all.
