1. Turner&Hooch
You missed K-9 though with Jim Belushi. That was funny too.

23. Definitely Benji!
I used to think he was really like that, traveling around the world, getting into adventures. I'll never forget the one where he went to Greece...

5. "The Ugly Dachshund" - Disney Studios
Utterly hilarious. Dean Caine's great dane thinks he's a dachshund. The only bad part is that the repulsive Suzanne Pleshette is in it.

I didn't know it then, but I do now. What a surreal and now scary movie. Sort of the male version of "The Handmaids Tale".

12. Where's The Incredible Journey (original) and My Dog Skip???
Edited on Tue May-18-04 04:57 PM by geniph
Or Weep No More My Lady? The original Incredible Journey had the best cinematography of any animal film, ever! This poll is sadly lacking in dog films!!! ;-)

But I admit it, it's lousy poll -- however, those were all I could think of at the moment.

Boy, this is the most amount of complaints I've ever gotten on a poll!

28. My Life As A Dog- Incredibly Beautiful Swedish Movie/ 1001 Dalmations
Edited on Tue May-18-04 05:30 PM by cryingshame
My Life As A Dog is about a young boy who's mother gets sick and must go to live with his uncle along with his dog.

This movie isn't doggie-centric the way the others are though...

Lady and the Tramp and 1001 Dalmations were though :)

Ok, so Babe isn't a dog, but he wants to be one (and there are actual dogs in the movie)... I think that counts for something.
