“I’m not going to compromise my God for your pocketbook!”

I'm was writting in my novel "Faith and Grace" and my main character just said what I think is a great quote, “I’m not going to compromise my God for your pocketbook!”
The main character's uncle, Jabez (Prayer of Jabez being an evil capitalist version of Christianity) Tomb, is trying to convince him to do a chataqua(sp) tent revival with his gang. 2 of the cowboys would pretend to be healed or "give a witness" while the other two would rob the town.

6. Nah, go with God

Might not be "technically" correct, but more than likely, that's how most people would say it in normal, natural speaking. Sounds more realistic. Unless your character is always very precise about language.

Also sounds more powerful to use "God" and not "Faith" there.

We'll see, but yeah, I try and go for realistic dialogue as best I can, with stutters, stops and all.
