I just bought a 21" computer monitor
(used) at a computer flea market, and it only cost me $60.00! And man, can I see it all now! Whoo!

I also bought a 1gb memory chip, but that was bought at full price...

I know you're jealous. Admit it.

1. Not really...
I've had a 21" Trinitron monitor since 1999, but I have to admit they are great! Running at 1600x1200 resolution at 100Hz freq makes a very pleasent picture which will protect you from headaches :)

5. ok I'm a bit envious
i have an unusual desk setup, because of which, a 21" wouldn't fit on my desk. my current 19" BARELY fits.
I like my current aging monitor well enough, but it is only fair quality, and possibly about to go out (horizontal hold seems to be breaking).

enjoy your 'real estate' :)

6. Mine is only 19", but you wouldn't notice the difference...
;-)

Mine was new, cost $180.

I refuse to use LCD screens. Dead pixels drive me up the wall, companies who make them won't exchange them, and aren't quite as sharp. (IMHO)

7. A computer flea market?
I suppose you have to be in a larger city to have those.

9. Monthly here in Dallas
Also is a monthly one (was???) at the Guard Armory in Berry Hill (Nashville)-- I lived about half a mile from it. Very nice of them to have it so close to me.

Most fair-sized cities should have one, at least in the summer months.
