Opening recpetion Monday night, 5-7 pm.
If you would like to get onto my snail mail list, please send your address to me via PM. You'll get notification by mail of my shows and any other special events/things/whatevers. Your address is safe, I'll never offer it to anyone else for any amount of money. Though I can't guarantee that if Shrub wins the next election, and AssKKKRoft decides he needs a list of all "art loving" people - that is, evil unchristian communists - I can't guarantee that your address will be safe.
We just hung the show today - lots of WONDERFUL art!
I have three paintings in the show that aren't shown here, because of the lack of a digital camera (described below). But as soon as my partner sends me my camera charger, I'll be getting pictures up on my gallery website.
Here's the blurb:
My next art show will open May 17 with an artist's reception from 5-7 PM (including wine and cheese and conversation with the artists in the show). It will be up through May 21, with a possibility of removal on the evening of May 20.
The show is in New York City, at Union Theological Seminary, 121st and Broadway, in James Chapel.
A small sampling of paintings:
painting 277, 28"x40"
Untitled, 20"x30"
Untitled, 20"x30"
Untitled, 20"x30"
Untitled, 20"x30"
Experimenting with a new idea, I'm offering a 10% discount on all artwork ordered before the show opens (and that includes all my artwork, not just the ones in the show). See my website for details, or you can PM me and I'll reserve the painting for you. I offer payments plans, up to six months, and the paintings come unframed so you can frame them however you like. Paintings won't ship until after the show, of course.
All paintings are originals and come with certificate of authenticity, a promise never to offer reproductions of the painting, and enough interesting things in the painting to afford you years of viewing pleasure and new and surprising discoveries on which to meditate.
For those of you in NYC, you can also come to my studio and view these before the show. PM me to make an appointment.
For those who have the link to my art website (my rabrrrrrr.com website continues to be down), you can see much more artwork there, plus see some of my older stuff, and early next week you will be able to see more of the artwork from this show (I stupidly left my digital camera charger in Japan, and the camera doesn't take anything but it's own battery, and I subsequently lost charge on the batteries, so have to wait to use a different camera next week).
For those who don't have the link to my on-line gallery, please PM me and I will send the link to you.
