We'll talk about in a few days, but it shouldn't be too bad - you'll be fine.

5. You'll be fine!
I had all four of mine out at once, and only one was impacted. I was in high school. I had the surgery on Friday, and was in school and fine on Monday. Saturday and Sunday weren't a whole lot of fun, but it's not the end of the world.

Good luck! :hi:

6. It'll be fine as long as...
They put you under. I had mine out two years ago, i think it was, and they put me under. But then I had a dry socket after a week...that was not pretty. The whole experience was ok...but it took me over a week to recoup because I'm such a baby. lol

7. I was mostly under...not all the way out.
I could hear and understand what people were saying, but no way in hell could I formulate a coherent response. Whooo, I was loopy!

9. I Woke Up
as my jaw was being cracked. I had all four done at once; two bony impactions and two soft impactions. My face was bruised and swollen for a month! It was 20 years ago (gads, I'm old) and it was easily one of the most painful things I have ever been through in my life (which includes over 150 kidney stones).

8. So basically we could ask you anything...
...but you wouldn't be able to respond coherently?

10. oh gawd...
it sucked...during my operation, I woke up halfway through to the sight of the dentist with his pliers jammed in my mouth, making an awful crunching sound (I assume breaking the teeth out of the jaw)..my whole head was shaking, and I started involuntarily crying..I assumed if he saw that, he would pull back and give me another dose of sleep medicine, but he didn't...I lasted another ten minutes..then fell asleep again....

oh it sucked..

ok...my tip for post operation---ADVIL!!

11. Crying is a side effect of the anesthesia
When they woke me up to take me to recovery, I was BAWLING. My boyfriend FREAKED. He was like, what did you do to her? I heard the nurse laugh and tell him I was fine but that it was a side effect. Then I was out again. I slept for two days. IT was fabulous. hehe

13. You mentioned this a while back. I forgot.
I hope everything goes well, and you have very little pain when it's done. Take care!

***good wishes***

Say "Ahhh" :wow:
