4. Yeah.
The black and white version had Vivian Vance.

When the show went to color, Lucy moved to California, and got a job at Mr. Mooney's bank.

5. Her last name also changed to something other than her married name
or her maiden name. It was Lucy Carmichael, even though she was McGillacutty-Ricardo in B&W world...lol

Gotta stop watching so much tv

6. Yeah, that was Gale Gordon.
He had a starring role on every Lucille Ball series except for I Love Lucy, and appeared occasionally on that as well. He was also the second Mr. Wilson on Dennis the Menace.

He even appeared on the short-lived (and God-awful) Life With Lucy, when he was 80 years old and Lucy was 75. Ick.

7. "Life with Lucy" was sad.
She was even trying to do some of the physical humor. It just didn't work.

8. Hard to laugh at physical humor
when you're worried about someone breaking a hip.

3. "Oh for corn's sake, Ethel!"
I love Fred and Ethel Mertz too. William Frawley and Vivian Vance were funny.
