the WW II memorial and W's Memorial

I went last week and it was very impressive and grand. It has similar bas relief elements of the more intimate FDR Memorial and is very hot. Literally. The symbolic oceans have fountains and very inviting steps down to the water. Everyone at the edge were sitting with their feet in the water. There were some sun bathing hotties and lots of kids wading until officials asked everyone to get their feet out. The kids never had a better time at a memorial until then.

The Washington monument was completely fenced off with a 10 foot tall plywood wall at a perimeter of 200 yards.

I took pictures but I also had some ideas for the next Memorial project to fit near the Jefferson Memorial...
