Woo hoo! Just got a $30 gift certificate to B&N!
YAY!!!

My cousin and her hubby came to visit a couple weeks ago and I showed 'em around town, adn they just sent me a nice little gift. WOO HOOOOOOOO!

I'd say "That'll help pay for that new Neal Stephenson book I bought" but I can't, since I already bought it, which means I get to buy NEW BOOKS!!

One can never have enough.

3. Speaking of B&N....
I went to the local store yesterday and in my wanderings, right by the coffee shop found a large table just full of every Bush-bashing book that's come out over the last year. Found no sign of books by right-wing wackos. I felt so pleased about that I proceeded to spend $52.

4. Yeah, all the B&N here have WAY more libeal books than freeper books
I don't know if it's nationwide, or just because this is NYC and we have few freeper types here, but I think it's wonderful.

Al Franken's book at a couple B&N still has prominent display.
