Question about Sirius Radio 103
My programming card says ABC Radio is on 103. There is no 103, just 102 and 104. Nothing in between.

Anyone know why?

1. An Old Program Card?
Maybe it's an old program card. Sirius changes it's line up from time to time.

My card says ABC News and Talk is on 140.

You can download a recent guide here:

4. Sirius is da BOMB!
I love sirius radio. I've had it for over a year. Great music channels, 2 left stations (2 1/2 if you count the politic talk host from Out Q the gay station), 2 comedy channels, lots of news. The system works EVERYWHERE! I went through yosemite in California and to rural areas from San Francisco to San Diego and only lost reception when the tree coverage in Yosemite was very thick (about 20 minutes). You loose reception when in parking garages, gas stations, or driving through tunnels/under freeway overpasses.

You have a couple of options:

Watch for sales in your sunday paper or at www.sirius.com. About once a month, they offer a free receiver if you buy the car radio ($200) and antenea $50).

Buy a house to home radio ($99) and the car kit or home kit ($50 each).

The house reception is tricky. I can not get my home kit to receive a signal unless I put the anteanea outside (and it is not built for outdoor exposure).

Monthly subscription costs are $12.95 a month. Now before you think PAY FOR RADIO!?! Remember it is unedited radio and NO COMMERCIALS on the music channels.

The only negative thing is their billing customer service center was a real pain in my rear last year. The issue was resolved that I had but it took several weeks.

5. I Love it Too
I'd never go back to terrestrial radio again.

Subscriptions are discounted if you pay for a 1 year or a 2 years at a time.

Details are on Subscriptions are here:

Equipment prices can range from $99 and up depending on what type of radio you want.

I use an Audiovox Plug N' Play unit with a Car Dock a home dock. I also purchased a boombox. That way I can listen at home, in my car and out gardening with one subscription.

MsUnderstood I broke down and bought TERK SIR6 outdoor antenna and placed it about 10 feet out in my yard on a bird feeder pole and get perfect reception here in the Central Pennsylvania Appalachians. I had some drop outs about twice a day with the antenna that comes with the home kit. That SIR6 give me full bars 24/7 now.
