They just brought up a player from the Arkansas Travelers, AA farm team. He jumped right over Salt Lake.

The Travs have done great since switching from a farm team for the Cardinals to the Angels.

I've been an die-hard Angel fan since '62!

I've been through Fregosi and Mincher and Bostock and Rudi and Regiie and, well, you name it.

I was in the Big A for the horrible Donnie Moore/Dave Henderson game, and I was sitting on the bed holding my wifes' hand like a 5 year old when Percival got the final out in the Series.

I thought I was the only Angel fan on this board!

BtW, are you near Baltimore? I live in northern VA, about a 2+ hour drive from Camden Yards.

Simpatico! You & me and Rezmutt makes three! I think he lives in Anaheim (O.C. at least). I live in Southern Maryland. Huntington Beach is my hometown; been out here 3 1/2 years. Great to meet another local Halos fan!

God, your post brings the names back: Bobby Grich -- I took his number! Lyman Bostock :cry: Joe Rudi (got his autograph) Jerry Remy Bob Boone Frank Tanana Brian Downing Gary DiSarscina . . . dang . . . not to mention Nolan Ryan -- I caught a foul ball off him in '89, when he was with the Rangers. Sigh.

My brother-in-law, Ross, called me when there was one out in the top of the ninth in '02 -- the whole family was there watching the game, crying because the Angels were winning and I was out here when it happened. We stayed on the phone 'til about 20 minutes after the final out. I'm surprised I didn't break the phone -- screaming into it, crying all over it . . .

Now my partner's an Angels' fan -- in fact, she's in there watching them beat up on the Yankees, talking to every player.
