"24" Watchers...
Was David Palmer's opponent ALWAYS named "John Keeler" with the blatantly similar Kerry campaign signs? I thought even for Fox that was over-the-top.

2. Yes..It was always Keeler
I dont think much of the John Kerry similarity in the name though...it does remind me, however, of Seantor Keely from "The Birdcage."

3. I noticed it bigtime..........
I thought the similarity of names, the campaign posters, and most importantly the way the actors stood and in the background all you could see was a portion of the campaign poster saying John Kee.
Blatant in my eyes and I made the comment while watching the show.

8. Glad I'm not crazy
Oh I forgot...it's "Senator John Keeler" and he's not being portrayed in a very flattering light.

4. I thought it coincidental
especially since the first episode was filmed well before primary season (probably sometime last fall).

5. Given what last year's story line was about
I wouldn't read too much into it...the program leans a bit to the left, if anything....

6. Forget that, did you see those F16's last night
They blew the budget on that one.
