Just world events, I belive we are now in ww3, everyone is under attack, how can I bring a baby into this world? music is not cheering me up, death and destruction all around. I just feel like crawling under a rock for the next 100 years.

3. My brother reminded me lately
that we have seen extrememly tough times before: 2 worldwars, great depression, civil war, Billy Carter etc. (not necessarily in that order). Humans are resilient. Don't know about Mother Earth, though.

4. I have a 3 year old...
You just try to do what you can with the one you got. Teach them love and compassion. Also teach them that the world is a horrid place sometimes. It doesn't do any good to lie to kids. They can smell a lie.

I worry about the world my son will live in. All I can do is give him the tolls he will need to navigate the waters of sharks and alligators that are waiting to pull him under the water for their own evil purposes.

He knows that he is loved. He knows that we will be there for him when other won't.

That is the best that you can do.

5. I was thinking the same thing with our first (1975) and
at the end of it all you have to think that maybe this child will change the world.
