What's your drink of choice when you belly up to the bar?

Mine is now soda as I don't drink anymore. When I did drink it used to be Long Island Ice Tea. Or Amaretto and Sour was pretty good, too.

3. Lime Vodka (the green stuff) with Sour...

it's absolutely delicious!!!

For beer I alternate between a good old Michelob Golden Light and Leine's Honeyweis

5. Bottled beer. Any kind

No draft, to many keggers in High School and college.

For some reason, I don't like mixed drinks at all. The smell of hard alcohol makes my stomach turn.

6. Patron Anejo straight up with Orange and Tomato Juice mix (sangrita) back.

A rare luxury. Mostly I'm a teatotaler, now, like you, soda and lime.

7. Makers Mark and soda with a squeeze of lemon

but I grew up drinking in Texas. Of course a mighty Hankarita - named after Hank at Bar of Soap - is a close second. If it's not too busy and Hank has his guitar with him, he'll play the Hankarita song after the request for one.

8. Jack on the rocks

Or, if I've got some money in my pocket, Macallan 18 on the rocks.

or if it's a Mexican restaurant/cantina I like a blended margarita, no salt.

12. Chivas Regal and water.

It doesn't get any better than that. Smooth as silk, no edge to the scotch. 12 year old blended scotch whiskey.

I got a bottle of Grey Goose for Xmas, and had the Galliano lying around, so I've been reaquainting myself with the charms of this particular cocktail.

My favorite drink when I go out. There's nothing better than going to Gentry's on Halsted, ordering a Maker's Mark and listening to some great music.
