Help with Spanish translation please.

I am helping my son (or rather he is helping me) make a poster about Uruguay for his 5th grade social studies project. I would like to put something like "Spanish is the official language of Uruguay", in Spanish, on it. Can anybody translate that for me? Thanks in advance, I want an A on this one!
