Elliot Lurie's voice (and writing) is hard to beat. It's going to take a talented and audacious singer to cover it.

I never liked that song. I always thought of it as a sign of the decline and fall of American popular music, on the same level as Seasons in the Sun and The Night Chicago Died. Just putting my opinion out there. Maybe I'll have to give all the above a fresh listen.

It was a riot! I was standing in line in the bank, and all of a sudden his phone starts 'ringing' the song "Brandy." Everyone noticed it; a few commented.
