Woman's Boyfriend Doused Her In Gas, Set Her On Fire

MIAMI -- A Miami-area woman remains hospitalized with serious burns while the man who allegedly set her on fire is still on the loose.

Dorothy Lundy is being treated for burns over 60 percent of her body. Authorities say boyfriend Thomas Mobley Junior doused her with gasoline and touched it off Monday night.

Police say it's not the first time the two battled with dire results. They say when Mobley was arrested on charges of pouring hot oil on Lundy last month, she was the one who bailed him out of jail.

Late Monday night, police say Mobley returned to Lundy's home, chased her outside, doused her with gasoline and lit a match or lighter. Lundy's 11-year-old son ran after her, patting her body with his bare hands in an attempt to put out the flames. He suffered second-degree burns.

I find it hard to sympathize with this woman.
