Even before I could read, I loved the N.C. Wyeth illustrations in my family's copy of the Odyssey. And the picture of Athena was the very coolest of all. Armor on top, filmy draperies below, and rushing down the peaks of Mount Olympus at breakneck speed. Nothing beats that.

My first tattoo is borrowed from the Fantasia image of Diana using the crescent moon as a bow and firing off an arrow tipped with a shooting star. Something about that image has stuck with me my whole life.
