Poll question: Would you want to know the future?
Edited on Tue May-11-04 10:23 PM by HypnoToad
Your own personal future?

Society's future as the causal nexus sees it to be?

(Edit: Spelling  )

3. What if you saw your ultimate fate?
Not just 'death'. I mean the how, what, where, when, who details of it?

Would you accept it?

Try to avoid it (though it is still inescapable)

Try to change it?

I'd try to change it, though with my luck I wouldn't be able to avoid it in terms of where I'd want to change it to.

And society? If we had known in the past about the events of today, what would we have tried to change? Or would we have accepted it as some grizzly form of catharsis?

5. well... the way i see it ...
death is unavoidable... fearing it is stupid, because its gonna happen someday, like it or not. id like to know when it is, so i could better prepare for it.

as far as society? why not? i mean... if i didnt like what i saw i could maybe find some way to try and change it. sure, it may not make a difference but i could at least say i had tried.

4. Yes, I want future winning lottery numbers and sports results.
How great would it be to have that Almanac from "Back to the Future 2"?
