3. Trying to agree on music
is like trying to agree on pizza toppings. Sure, there are some things that most people like, but rarely will two people feel the same about one particular pie.

4. The Beatles were terrific
Their music cannot be classified; it transcended genres. Sgt. Pepper's is one of the finest records ever produced (and certainly one of the most innovative).

5. You are so right, Fenris.
They did things that no one before or since has ever even approached (not even my beloved Paul Simon or Pink Floyd).

7. The Beatles were magic...
They not only played together, they wove musical tapestries around each other. Oh, and they could sing really well. BTW one of my absolute joys in life is playing and singing Beatles tunes in our band. McCartney's bass lines are a thing of beauty to me.

8. I think the Beatles were great, but...
...for entirely different reasons than most Beatles fans seem to love the group.
