Have you ever written an important letter or email and made a mistake

I'm not talking just punctuation, althought that can be bad, but also anything else beyond that even....

I think I have one that could beat any story out there.

Or maybe you have no stories and are careful...

Not to top your pubic failures, but . . .

My friend once worked for a PR firm that produced the annual report for an oil and gas exploration firm (for about 200K). In the first paragraph of the CEO's letter was this gem: "Last year was particularly good for pubic drilling."* Guess which firm had to paste ten thousand little "public" stickers in each copy of the report?

* For him, anyway.

Worst thing I've done recently is wrote a personal letter to my partner and accidentally sent it to my old boss as well. (If you're familiar with the current hotmail interface, you'll know how easily this kind of thing can happen.)

So, what's your story that can beat any story out there?

Dyslexia can put the ass in embarrass. I can spell check and still get it all messed up.

8. Mine was not in writing but to their face...

One day our District Manager came in the office, he had an office in the same area as mine. A really big MEAN GUY, everyone shook when he came around cause he was a Power Pig and loved to either humiliate people or threatened their job. I was absolutely terrified of him.
When he came around I couldn't hardly speak, I always felt sick.
One day, he came and started to strike up a conversation with me. He asked where I lived, I told him. He said " Beautiful area, me and my wife are looking to buy a house near you." I paniced and opened my mouth and said, "Oh Dear G*d I hope not cause I don't think I could stand it!" He went livid. I didn't work there long after that.
