Poll question: Better living through song titles II: titles you'd live your life by
Hopefully the subject line is clearer this time. Tried this a couple days back and clearly nobody had any idea what I was trying to get across. (My fault, needless to say). Anyway, here's another set, featuring the best of the Other replies. The only one carried over is "You Can't Always Get What You Want," as it was the only one other than Other to get significant votage.

As before, if I can get my limited brain power applied to the task, I'll replace any non-vote-getters in a little under an hour. Three that might be replacements are Don't Worry Be Happy, Relax, and Stranger in a Strange Land.

Kudos to markses for endless philosophical speculations on the works of The Smiths on the original thread. You know, I think you may have been pulling our legs?

9. Mozambique
by Bob Dylan and Jacques Levy

I like to spend some time in Mozambique
The sunny sky is aqua blue
And all the couples dancing cheek to cheek.
It's very nice to stay a week or two.

There's lots of pretty girls in Mozambique
And plenty time for good romance
And everybody likes to stop and speak
To give the special one you seek a chance
Or maybe say hello with just a glance.

Lying next to her by the ocean
Reaching out and touching her hand,
Whispering your secret emotion
Magic in a magical land.

And when it's time for leaving Mozambique,
To say goodbye to sand and sea,
You turn around to take a final peek
And you see why it's so unique to be
Among the lovely people living free
Upon the beach of sunny Mozambique.

10. "Why Don't We Get Drunk And Screw" - Jimmy Buffett
Why don't we get drunk and screw
I just bought a waterbed it's filled up for me and you
They say you are a snuff queen
Honey I don't think that's true
So why don't we get drunk and screw
Yeah, now baby I say, (Lord!)
Why don't we get drunk and screw

12. Going Underground - The Jam
" ...
You choose your leaders and place your trust
As their lies wash you down and their promises rust
You'll see kidney machines replaced by rockets and guns

And the public wants what the public gets
But I don't get what this society wants
I'm going underground, (going underground)
... "

plus, aren't we all underground? How can you read this post if you're not? :D
