Watched Gizmo lay like this for 5 minutes easily in the warm sun. Great way to spend a Sunday!

3. Cats REALLY know how to chill, don't they?
Gizmo is lucky to be able to go in and out as he wishes. My cat does not have that luxury.

Aaaah you go Gizmo!!!!

and both cats go in and out. But they don't try to jump the fence. They are perfectly happy chasing bugs and lounging in their yard!

5. What a beautiful lazy cat!
Gizmo is just gorgeous!

I agree about furry cat bellies - I love to scratch our cats' bellies when they're lying like that. It's a sign of trust for them to lie on their backs like that; they don't show you their bellies unless they trust you not to attack them.

Our cats don't go outside either, nor do they show any signs of wanting to. Once I tried carrying Monty outside at our house in Wichita and he was so scared that he peed all over the deck.
