1. SF-OAK bay area
A very liberal area... and if it gets below 50 degrees, we're freezing!

3. South Florida.... Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, WPB
If you can go by the last election,

Dade 53% Gore
Broward 69% Gore
Palm Beach 64% Gore

Plus, Florida could use a few more Dems moving in for the overall state vote. It is certainly warm there, maybe a bit too warm for you depending on what you are looking for.

66% voted for Gore in 2000, and it is definately warm there. Traffic is a nightmare :(

Stay away from Orange County though. Freeper paradise.

6. Tallahassee...
Yes, it's the capitol, but I hear it's very democratic. The county at least. You'd have to take the chance of running into the nut job governor, but I hear it's great. And it's an hour from what was rated as US's number 1 beach last year.

9. Went to the Green Building Conference in Austin TX
a couple months ago, while South by Southwest was going on. Had a blast. Saw the Ben Cohen Pants on Fire car. It was pretty nice weather in March. I will go back.
