I can remember when I was little and all my momma really wanted for Mother's Day was a hand drawn card and a chance for an uninterupted nap in the afternoon. :)

2. I think Mrs. Tripper is....

she's puttering about with her plants right now. I made her breakfast, a cake for later. The kids made her Mother's Day gifts and we're just having a kick back Sunday.
She will be cruising in for a nap in about 20 minutes when the game starts. She's doing alright on this Mom's day!

11. It's been peaceful.

I talked to my mom on the phone this morning, and my oldest son showed up to take me out to lunch; stayed to watch a movie, and just left a bit ago.
