What will we be posting about in a year, after Pres. Kerry has...
been in office for four months?

How pleased we are with his SCOTUS nominees?

The addition of three new large allies in the continuing stabilization of Iraq?

Praising the passage of the tax reforms that cause large companies to pay more taxes for offshoring their workers?

Keep filling in the blanks...

1. Probably something about how the
media is making every thing he does into a '-gate', how everything President Kerry does is talkied about at length and how they let all Bush's* huge scandals slide without mention. The right wing isn't going take their lose laying down. They are going to be vicious and we had better be prepared. The fight only begins when Kerry wins.

2. I will be talking about how great it is that Bushco is gone.

To keep the media from making everything a "gate" issue, Kerry need only appoint a decent commissioner for the FCC. Return to the media fairness policy from before Reagan and we are set and Kerry will be fine.

5. I agree, Nite Owl
Look at how they went after Clinton and that was before the humiliations they have suffered through this administration. They will be ready to fight, we should be too.

16. That about sums it up.
It's not going to be all milk and honey. Kerry's going to have a lot of cleaning up of this major mess and he's going to have to do it without media support. Remember what happened to President Clinton anyone? And he a rather a centrist.

3. I"m inclined to believe
...all our problems will be "luxury problems" at that point, but then I think about how hard PNAC and BFEE worked to make Clinton's presidency miserable. Hell, I might emigrate no matter who wins, because you can be sure the American people will lose no matter what!

17. To be truly cynical you'd have to say
"We'll be talking about ways to evade the draft"

Not that I necessarily believe that will happen, but many here do. EVEN if Kerry wins.

8. LBN
Former president George W. Bush was arrested today on drunk and disorderly charges. A call was placed to local police from Nipples strip club where the former president was causing a disturbance. When local police arrived at the scene they observed Bush dancing on the stage with the dancers, wearing only a g-string and cowboy boots screaming "I own this club, I own this country...yee haw...yee haw".
As police tried to quiet the former leader, he broke down crying and was reported to ask "Where's my Dick?". When police pointed to his crotch Bush then said, "No, my Cheney".
Police also found a white powdery substance in the former president's coat pocket which is believed to be cocaine. When asked about the substance Bush replied "It isn't mine, I didn't even know it was there until I see it on TV tomorrow".
Mr Bush was booked and released to his daddy on $2,000 bail. He will be on vacation at his ranch in Texas until his court date.

Ok, so I'm not much of a satirical writer, but I gave it a shot.

Actually, I'd almost be willing to offer both my legs to get an "Aesthetics America!" initiative. And Kerry and his wife are, perhaps, just the people to bring it.

First complete sentence spoken by an American President since Clinton left White House said today at Kerry's inaugaration {reply count - 18}

14. Probably something to do with healthcare
or how to get the fuck out of Iraq, or all the pardons that the moron* issued before being rode out of town on a rail. Anyway here's too getting the best night's sleep in years 2 November, and the beginning of a new era 3 November.

15. So many things..
basically his slow but methodical undoing of the Bush damage. We'll be hearing about new executive orders, plan to revoke the tax cuts, a timetable for getting out of Iraq, meetings to patch things up with foreign leaders..

Right on cue, we'll combating the right wing smear machine.
