American League
East: BoSox have the lead, but the Yankees are just 2 back. ABY! Anybody But the Yankees!
Central: Twins and ChiSox are tied at 17-12 each. The Tigers (whom I already projected would win the division; just look at the exit polls) are hanging in there, 3.5 back. The Royals???????? Someone pull George Brett out of retirement. I don't care if he's 200 years old; I'm sure he's still better than whomever the Royals have now.
West: The Angels and Rangers have been battling for he division lead as of late. The Angels O8) are a game and a half ahead. Let's not discuss the Mariners.
Wild Card: The Rangers have a slight lead in the Wild Card, with the Twins and ChiSox right behind. The Dang Yankees are two games back on the Wild Card, while the Tigers are five back. ABY!
National League
East: Jack McKeon's Marlins have a two-game lead over the Phillies and a 2.5-game lead over the Braves. The Expos, meanwhile, are on pace to go 52-110 after winning five of their last ten! The Tigers went 43-119 last year.
Central: Go Cubbies! They're only two behind the Astros. The Pirates, meanwhile, are returning to their old ways.
West: Dodgers lead the Padres by a game. The rest are at least six games back.
Wild Card: The Padres are just a game ahead of my Cubbies and two ahead of the Reds. (Imitating Dan Rather) It's tighter than Pamela Anderson's thong.
