What's for lunch today ?

Me and Mrs bearfan are having salad, baked potato in the microwave, and baked beef shoulder roast. I got her a card and flowers, and you know what else too.

1. Caterpillar sushi from Costco and maybe some peach pie

No, caterpillar sushi is not made from caterpillars! It's a crab blend stuffing with a slice of avocado wrapped around the outside. Yummy!

For dinner, I'm going to my mom's best friend's son's house. It's gonna be a hard day for me since it's the first without my mom. Spending part of it with her best bud will help.

2. no moms in our house -- PB&J and a banana

simple but good

oh--and the ubiquitous Diet Coke.

3. Mother's Day luncheon for my parents

Pan-fried Petrale sole
Sweet potatoes
Spinach salad
Fruit

All my mom's favorite foods on one plate.:D

5. Oven roasted then pan seared chicken

with some sea salt and ground pepper and a smack of garlic powder and cayenne pepper.

will taste good. I'll get out and walk later in the afternoon.
