What's a good place to get a domain registered?

I've been looking to register one, and I see the price vary a bit between like $10 and $20, and it seems like domain registration would just be a commodity so I'm wondering if there's any difference between where you get it registered or anything.

...many registrars use registrarapi.com for their services.

However, customer service is the key. I prefer Dotster (www.dotster.com)

for me and it's cheap! $7-8.

Their prices are good, and they offer lots of options and control. You might be able to go a little cheaper, but I would (and do) stick with Godaddy.

and you can build a basic website really cheap. Just Google it, the address is too long.
