Another youth revolution

During the sixties student protests, sit-outs, sit-ends and other forms of protest were extremely popular. Shedding of materialism (brought on by much of B. Dylan's inspriration), rise of socalist thought, and a strong leanancy towards pacificsm. The main place of these protests was Berkley, California at the college in town. Now-a-days, B. Dylan is doing Victoria's secret commercials and there are more people in the Young Republicans club at Berkley then the liberal clubs. Will another youth revolution come about because the war in Iraq is looking more and more like Vietnam everday or will youth in general acquise to these ideals promoted government.

i suspect if iraq goes on near as long as nam did... there will be student protests, i fear they wont be so peaceful though, people these days have short tempers... thats the only thing im afraid of, i would hate to see a student protest turn violent and get outta hand.

2. I agree that if/when the student protests begins

they will indeed be real violent. Like you said, youth now a days are more short tempered and are obsessed vwith violence, well most are anyway.

It won't be our parents protests that's for sure.

The hitler youth, I mean young perukes are collecting the names of the young democrats, so that they may be drafted in the first wave. Then * will get impatient and he and crashcart will nuke Iraq. Poof, no more young democrats.
