that neighbors a National Forest will once again feel the onslaught of 20,000 Rainbow Family folks this summer. The Forest Service will be armed as well as the local police in expectation of a brutal conflict and confrontation with the peacenics.

I well remember in 1985 when the Family decided to have their annual meetup in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri. "Bunch of God D*mn Hippies is what they are". After the event was concluded many of the local merchants and law enforcement people were singing a different tune. "Nicest people I ever met"."I didn't have any problems with those people. They can come back next year".

3. PLEASE! I know Rainbow Family members and THEY are

the last people to cause problems. Before the gathering many go to the spot and prepare it and the neighboring community. Yeah, some don't wash as regularly as others but they are really kind people.

Typical over reaction by "law" enforcement. They are usually the ones who start problems and then they blame it on the "hippies."
