31. One of the greatest songwriters!

But I agree about the singing. I have never heard another artist cover a Bruce Springsteen song that didn't sound better by the cover artist. I understand he puts on one heck of a live performance though.

Or are you limiting this question to singers who actually sing?

If people wanted to protest a Super Bowl performance shouldn't it have been the previous year's pre-game show where all but one performer lip-synched?

Who knew Milli Vanilli were just too far ahead of their time?

50. Wrong. But you got his middle name right. I once worked with him.
Lee actually has pipes. And a good band. But his music grates. All sounds like the McDonalds jingle he wrote..."McDonalds and you..."
(I'm a concert audio engineer. Worked with lots of names you know.)

I once had to mix Lee Greenwood for 10,000 fans in the LA area. Yes, even that awful First Bush Gulf War anthem 'I'm Proud to be an American.' Echh. Had to do my best, though, to be professional.

I worked a few rodeos too (animal rights people are correct. they are very abusive of the animals) and the rodeos started with a parachute jumper with an auto dealer-sized American flag attached to him landing in the middle of the arena while Greenwood's faux anthem blared and timed to end just as he landed. Nationalism is truly disgusting precisely because it works as show biz. Very dangerous.

My candidates:
1) Jacob Dylan-much worse than his father
2) Jewell
3) Natalie where's the pitch Merchant
4) Jim Belushie-had to mix him fronting the official House of Blues band-ouch.

There are a few singing acts that I like to say of 'They really put the harm in harmony.'

When you work in music every day of your life, you get intolerant of mediocrity. Sorry.

Sort of the same principle as Bruce Springstein -

Talented guitarist and song writer but as a singer (ehhhh).

I know his voice works great for the material he does but it can become monotonous over the course of a record/CD.
