I Hate TV Commercials That Feature Company Exec Testimonials.
You know them: the president of some company gets on and (with varying levels of success) tells you how great his company/product is...how much you're going to love it...how much his company is blah, blah, blah.

Do these things actually work, or are they simply vanity projects so the corporate suit can feel like a movie star?

1. The worst ones are from Halliburton.
Because it is pure drivel, and we know how slimy they really are.

2. You Beat Me To It... I Was Going To Mention Halliburtion.
And that "It's not who we know, it's WHAT we know" bullshit.

3. Bud Light is lampooning those very commercials....
With their low-carb beer ads. The mini treadmill one comes to mind.

I have to admit - they're so campy that they're actually somewhat humorous.

5. Bud Light - the best beer commercials ever...and the worst swill ever
brewed.

Is it actually brewed or is it really just piss?

4. Ford tried that with their chairman of the board...

Just because William Clay Ford does some commercials touting his cars and trucks doesn't make them any better. I was annoyed at those commercials. Pure vanity.
