we've come to be just pleased when you make it to the end of a speech ... and, as far as the family, thank you for doing all you have done to right-size our standard of living ... we are much better off without any extra time on our hands ... and, not having enough money motivates us to be glad we have a job when we have one ... Lordy, we really didn't need that 3 bedroom with den and garage house ... who had time to clean and keep it maintained ... we wonder how crazy we were to once have had weekend get-aways or having some fun once in awhile ... why dream of visiting Europe when it's now 'new' and no longer 'old' ... living under fear has its advantages ...
