10. I swear, every time I've been in a gay bar....
I seem to have heard "Xanadu". AND seen the clip from the movie. :-)

No, I haven't heard the Xanadu remix. Would like to, though.

16. There's something indescribably great about Xanadu.
Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's because it's so massively over the top, and doesn't care.

14. Ugh! Ugh! Move to Texas!
Do you not have to hear the insipid Chevy (or is it Ford?) commercials that are every Freeper's wet dream?

Here in Texas we are inundated with "Like a Rock" and other stupid commercials for big trucks.

17. I can assure you Bob Seager
is NOT a freepers wet dream! & do you think only freepers drive pick-ups?

18. No, I used to drive one myself.

But for those of us living in Freeper Central in an 85% Republican enclave outside Dallas, they are the majority of the pickup drivers. And I mean the REALLY big pickups.

And surprise surprise-- they see a Honda with Democrat bumper stickers, and like to tailgate us just to be assholes.

I didn't say the song was a freeper's wet dream, I said the commercials were.

By the way... it's SEGER.

11. Don Henley - The Boys of Summer
Song is 20 years old. And still relevant.

Likewise with John Mellencamp's "Little Pink Houses". But, then again, I'm a Hoosier. That may hold a little sway in that decision...:D

15. I lived in Cleveland in the 1990's
And a new station, 107.9 the end played "Its the end of the world as we know it" for a week straight with no commercials. I have had that song in my head for 10 years, and still love it.
