1. I do too.
I love first person shooters. I'm playing Far Cry right now and loving it.

3. Resident Evil
You MUST buy this game for the Gamecube. Not Resident Evil Zero, or the part 2 or 3 remakes, but the ORIGINAL. RESIDENT EVIL...remake of the classic PS1 game...everything is the same, but very different...incredible visuals, and very, very, very bloody. You will poop your pants many times...especially if you play it in the dark. Trust me.

5. Then you will love...
Wolfenstein: ET. Available for both WinblowZ and Linux. Just about as much bloody fun as you can have with your clothes on. ;-)

6. i've been playing painkiller
it's awesome, but a little repetitive. nothing like a gun that shoots 3 foot long fenceposts at things and uses real physics to model the aftermath..

gibs galore!

i tried wolfenstien... wasn't my bag.. far cry is good. currently playing hitman-contracts.

13. Wolfenstein: ET is online only.
It's much more fun than the single player version. Playing against real people is where it's at.

14. Hitman: Contracts is good.
So far my 2 favourite levels are the fetish party in the slaughterhouse (opium, girls in black vinyl, a psychopathic killer who wanders around in nothing but a pair of stained Y-fronts and a bloody butcher's apron...what's not to like?) and the English country manor...think the next game I'm getting is going to be Manhunt. Suffocating people with plastic bags and slicing their jugulars with broken glass...oh, yes. Hehe.

I keep going back to the Medal of Honor series (Allied Assault, Spearhead, Breakthrough) for multiplayer, too. In my opinion it's the best of the Q3 engined games for multiplayer, and it's much more historically accurate as far as having correct weapons & uniforms, etc for all combatants than any of the other WWII FPS's. Plus some of the maps are just brilliant.

Also REALLY looking forward to Doom 3 and Half-Life 2, as well as Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault. (At least I know the third of those is going to be out in about 2 months...now if only Id and Valve would hurry up...)

12. Totally agree!
I haven't played in about ten days now and need a fix. I usually play as a medic under the moniker ^1General ^4Hospital, then when my medic XP is boned up, I usually switch to engie on certain maps.

It's amusing to see all the "guy talk." They don't know a lady is watching. ;)

9. Yup, some of them anyway...

I played the original Doom and enjoyed it more for the puzzles (how to get over there, find the keys, get through the Boss) than the basic monster smashing. But, I later discovered God Mode and KFM, and I took to dropping myself into the middle of challenging levels and just blasting the crap out of stuff as a stress reliever.

I like some first person shooters now. I really like the Medal of Honor and Call to Duty series.

I mostly play fantasy RPG games like Baldur's Gate, Planetscape: Torment, etc. Still some cool blowing stuff up in these, just accomplished in different ways.

10. Guilty, as charged.
First-person shooters are my bag. I'm really into Enemy Territory lately. When I get pissed at *, I go shoot some Nazis. :)

11. Off-Topic: Graphic

I must steal that graphic. That is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

:-)
