I dont know that Dax wouldnt have been Republican.

Not sure Kira wouldnt have been a moderate Republican either.

Garak also strikes me as an old school conservative.

On the other hand, Nog would strike me as republican but who votes democrat.

EVerything else looks about right to me.

And now, I must go work out or something to regain my non-geek credentials ;)

4. I don't know.
Dax always striked me as the modern type of woman. She would have hated Bush. Dax seemed to be her own woman and seemed reasonably liberal. Kira would have been more republican in terms of defense. She had a very conservative attitude towards the Cardassians.

9. Umm, Odo was no Moderate R in the beginning
He would have loved a patriot act in the early seasons.

And I would also downgrade Sisko to Moderate R towards the end.
Quark starts socially R but moves socially D in the series.

11. I would say Sisko went from Liberal D to moderate/pragmatic D.
Of course for m, I would say that I have the heart of a liberal and the head of a moderate/pragmatic.
