I've lost respect for just about everyone involved with that train wreck, although I don't dislike Ewan McGregor because of it.

I remember Natalie from The Professional, where she was great. I haven't seen her in much besides the Star Wars movies. Are there more I should watch? I think she's a fine actress though, I suppose.

It's just like Sophia Coppola, she's gotta do a WHOLE LOT MORE than a mediocre "Lost in Translation" to make up for utterly destroying "The Godfather Part III", which was, otherwise, not a bad film, IMO.

As for Star Wars: I'm a big Star Wars fan too, and that's why I find TPM and AotC particularly horrible! I think that Lucas destroyed the myth he created with the first 3 films. I grew up with Star Wars, and beyond the horrible directing and appaling acting (not to mention criminal writing!), he systematically unraveled a lot of the mystery that was present in the first series. Saying that the force is bacteria poop, the Clone Wars are all about Bobba Fett's clones, "The maker" in C3PO's "Thank the Maker, this oil bath is going to feel so good!" from SW is some stupid assed bratty kid Vader. Guh, I *hated* it.

Not to mention that a great opportunity to delve into the history and politics of the Old Republic was wasted on a 45 minute pod scene (and buildup thereto).
