The whole obscenity law is a joke...no one prosecuted under it even knows if they're guilty until a jury rules on it...so the standard can change from month to month, from jury to jury, even within one city!

It's not the rule of law, it's politics gone mad. If some porn is to be outlawed the laws should be specific enough for someone to know if they are violating the law.

The internet is even complicating. Isn't the internet it's own self-contained community? What's the "community standard" of the internet?

Unionization. The workers need to unionize and protect themselves. I doubt Asscroft's issues ran along these lines though.
