1. Very strange--I got nothing to offer, though.
"What if it could be rebuilt?"

Sounds ominous to me.

3. Unbelievable.
Some futuristic enforcer robot running on top of shacks?

Wouldn't the money be better spent raising their standard of living and offering them opportunities other than making Nikes for 10 cents an hour?

I am sure people would just LOVE to have robots running around shooting people in their slums.

Maybe I am overreacting, but that is the way it struck me.

5. Yeah, but this would have to be cheaper in the long run...
and robots don't talk back.

robots/cyborgs like this will come in our lifetimes, no doubt.
hopefully poverty will be going away too, though... we will have to see to that.

8. Background
This is a video from a company which does CGI work. Thsy host it on their site to give customers an idea of what they can do.

HOWEVER, it was a comission, for a real company in South Africa which is in the R&D stages of robotics.

They envision spending millions or billions on a robot to spy on and terrorize those poor people instead of trying to improve the poor people's way of life.

Greed is scary.

PNAC...cyborgs...

Notice the voiceovers are clearly AMERICAN and AFRIKAAN.

The goal of PNAC is to hold the world under one umbrella, correct?

I wonder how much the Carlyle group has invested in this company?

Maybe I just need more sleep...
