3. Not really
Time is an accident of our nervous systems telling us things have come to pass, such as waiting, which is a palpable feeling..

Time travel is not possible in the way we perceive time.

Travel implies going to a place, a destination, since time is not a destination, it cannot be traveled to.

4. While we are alive it does.
When you are dead you aren't confined by time or space.

6. Yes, it's an illusion
I like to tweak my husband by calling it the 'fourth dimension'. Never fails to send him into fits. :)

7. Time doesnt exist
It is a measure of entropy. So in a sense, asking if time exists is like saying does distance exist.

9. Time is a dimension
Our experience of it as a linear progression may be an illusion. But it is as real as space. Of course the verdict is still out on exactly what those are so..... don't go placing any bets just yet.

10. Hmm, I thought it was Time-Space
They are not separable...

Does space really exist, or is that an illusory construct as well?

11. Well technically there are probably 11 dimensions
But our particular expression of universe only exhibits qualities of 4 of these dimensions. 3 spacial and one chrono. They are inseperable as we experience them. As you move through space you effect your motion through time. Effectively leaving you at a constant rate of speed overall (ie as you move faster through space you move slower through time and vice versa). This also explains why C is the ultimate speed limit in the universe. The faster you move though space the slower you move through time. Thus eventually you hit the absolute minimum of time and cannot move any faster.

12. If it didn't exist, everything would happen all at once.
I forget who I'm stealing that quote from.

13. There is some thought these days (irony)
that it is our experience of time that is linear and that perhaps everything did ... er does .. will(?) happen all at once.
