How Do You Like Your Political Commentary?

I'm talking about form here, not content. When you're reading an opinion piece, do you want it to be...

1. long and funny

or

short and somber

2. Well thought out...

and fact-based (with sources). Sometimes nasty attacks can go overboard. I don't exactly like long commentary either. :shrug:

7. Similar to what I'd say, though I'd also add 'original'

Or 'from an original point of view'.

But I'm very picky. :-)

Definitely I don't find length to be a particular good quality in political commentary.

Tell you where they're coming from and where they get their "facts".

Well, short anyway. Writing succinctly is becoming a lost art. Unfortunately *I* tend to take this too far, and often fail to say enough to make myself clear.
