3. I've always thought a lot of Indians, BUT...
At least half of the ones who answer the phone for these "call centers", and especially for long-distance info, can't understand the English WE speak well enough to get the address, listing, or answer right. And they're replacing YOU with them, after all the time and performance--and ability to speak American English--you've given them?!

At least they could hire Indians who've lived in and/or were educated in the U.S., had family members who did, or watched enough U.S. movies or T.V. to understand some of our colloquialisms. The ultimate insult is when they have someone in your position actually TRAIN the Indian worker who will succeed them...striking me as a lot like having the U.S. worker sharpen the guillotine blade so the executioner only has to make one chop to cut his head off!

That's Dub's economy for ya...and he wants us to think he's a UNITER, not a divider?:grr:

B-)

4. That's why when I speak to some of the people in India...
...who are taking my job, I try to phrase everything with lots of idiomatic expressions.

That always makes them squirm.

5. If you call Dell,
you invariably get an Indian call center. Their answer for everything is to reinstall Windows or reformat your hard drive. You think I am kidding, try it!
