Boy, Dear Abby has a tale about a woman who bought the house she grew up in from her mom, and mom still lives there and kvetches about everything, another advice column goes like "Me and my friend work in the same place, and we had an agreement where we'd alternate promotions, and I got greedy and back-stabbed her for the last opening, and now I'm upset because she has the gall to be pissed at me..." and Dave Barry has an odd tale about people who got Barbie dolls as part of their severence....

Can't make this stuff up, people....Truth is stranger than fiction....
