Gas prices in your area
Alaska, Kenai Peninsula: $198.9/gallon. We pump it and make it and still pay through the nose. :( Can only get higher.

1. North Jersey - $1.659 - $1.999
Bit less for no name. Haven't seen anyplace hit the magic $2.00.

We refine it here so NJ is generally less expensive.

We get full service here too. Self serve is illegal.

17. $2.13 for Regular
here in the San Francisco area. Self service. It might be a bit cheaper at Costco.

We're right by refineries, too.

3. I filled up this afternoon at a Citgo at $1.799...... Central Florida
And BTW.... today in 2004 with the prices as high as they are and with no price reversal of any size in sight.... isn't that 9/10ths kind of ridiculous??

And just to give you an idea of the local gas prices, here's a handy website.....

5. This is from Friday, I stayed home all weekend.
You know, "Homo Alone" <imitates MaCulley Culkin> :D

$1.859 per gallon. :-(

On the plus side, my 1995 rustbox car gets 25~30 MPG depending on which routes I take, how much traffic there is (rush hour kills mileage), and speed (anything above 55mph drains gas big-time.)

23. Atlanta, GA area, around $1.55-$1.60
They say Ga has pretty low fuel taxes. This was as of Friday. It may have gone up the past couple of days. I have also heard that a pipeline terminus or transportation hub is in the area, and it helps keep prices a shade lower, but I could be wrong. Either way, the price does seem a bit lower here than the other places...Kevin.
