Is Beachcomber an Avocation?
Edited on Thu Apr-22-04 05:24 PM by The Lone Liberal
It has become apparent the last years that the degree choice made early in life was wrong. Thus far it has been totally connected to a job. To late I discovered that jobs have this narrow minded attitude about showing up every (what they call a workday) time the doors open for business and staying there no matter how wonderful the day outside is or what I might prefer doing with that wonderful day.

It also, entails staying there for a certain amount of time. Early on, much to my surprise I found that if I did not agree to most of those terms they would not pay me!

So, I am thinking about retraining. Beachcomber sounds just about right for me. Lay around the beach, hunt for seashells to sell to tourist, eat coconuts found on the ground and drink rum most of the day. Does any one know of a Pell grant for Beachcomber?

1. Dude! Can I apprentice with you?
I promise to be properly respectful of the Master...um, so long as you share the rum anyway.

3. It was for me for a few good years...even got paid to surf
Did some photo shoots back in the late 70's and early 80's just as the lines of surfwear such as OP and a few others were coming out.

Being born wealthy might have been nice, but would I then be a repuke?

On edit: Don't forget the bug spray for those pesky sand flies. Itch, itch, itch.
