update on bicycle mileage
Earlier this week I posted a question about using my bicycle at work to go between buildings (1.5 mi one way) and still get paid for mileage.

I spoke to my supervisor and union president. My contract stated that I would get reimbursed for "personal vehical" use. They both agreed that this does allow for bicycles. I will be listing my bicycle mileage in my claim form without guilt.

3. I am pleased
I anticipated a fight, but there was none.

I even timed how long it took me to drive vs ride. Door to door time. The average time was with 30 seconds of each other. Give me a few weeks and it will be less time to ride.
