Drool

That would look so nice with a John Kerry sticker and a DU sticker symmetrically placed on the bumper. And an American flag sticker in the rear window. Pure American Awesome-ness!

2. I gotta say I like the retro styling of the new Mustang.
The front end looks like the '67. Very cool.

7. That puts a lump in my throat, cause I'm gonna hurl
Sorry, those inner lights are totally overkill to me, and with or without them, it's still reminiscent of a fugly ass Dodge Ram :wtf:

6. I love the retro look.

But I'm not a fan of retro engineering, like the solid rear axle.

Even my Mazda SUV has an independent rear axle that was designed by Ford/Mazda. So why wouldn't they include one on a premium 2-seater sports car, is beyond me.

9. The Corvette doesn't need to go retro. It is retro.
At least under the hood. That design has been around for almost 50 years.

The new C6 Corvettes look a little like Ferraris. Doncha think?

12. Engine's great, but I also like style
(especially the 61).

Aerodynamics are great, but where can you drive at 150 mph long enough to matter?

(I'm here in NE Ohio).

15. I know
But my best friend had a 1967 Fastback that we had many good times in. I loved the car. Perhaps the only bad thing about it was he sold his '64 convertible to get the '67.

The new one is truly a fine looking car, not like the crap they called Mustangs back in the 80s

17. 80's cars generally sucked
I think it was from all the coke people did in the 70's. That or the stupid energy crisis. It's nice to have real musclecars again.
