any educated liberals want to lend me a hand?
Hey all,

I've posted here before, asking for advice. Now I'm going to be blunt. I'm not afraid of just asking anyone interested in a little cross-ideology debate to come to my site, because I know how big Democratic Underground is, and I'm certainly not going to deter members from posting here by asking for a little participation.

The reason I ask, is because I feel that the past couple weeks have changed my site from a melting pot for various positions (liberal, conservative, etc), into a republican/libertarian strong-hold.

The good thing is though, that most of the conservatives on my site (that haven't been banned), are pretty objective, and calm.

So anyway, no threat to democratic underground, but rather a compliment, my site, http://www.volconvo.com Please take a peak, and consider offering some of your incite into the issues.

-Sean

1. Sorry, I saw someone write good things about Ann Coulter and I had to go

but I appreciate anyone trying to encourage discussion between the parties.

Seriously, if the people at your site felt like doing some research they could see that Franken at least has PROOF for his claims.

3. heh
Hey, I agree with you, but that's the thing with opinions, we've all got them. If you think you have "proof", don't say you "had to go", jump in, and show them up ;)

Thanks though for the support for the effort.

2. I hate to be pedantic...

but "incite" is what you do to start a riot. "Insight" is the word you're looking for if you want people's opinions. Kinda makes a difference. :)

6. ..I dont understand
What are you implying? I didn't say edumacated, and I wasn't trying to come off as condescending if that's what you were getting at.

7. Relax
I was pointing out the gentle irony that your post, which calls upon educated DUers, nevertheless contains an egregious syntactic error.

9. Read my post above
You used incite where I'm assuming what you meant was insight.

10. oh...
oh, about using incite, instead of insight... I didn't connect that with edumacation. I see now..I think.

4. don't you mean "informed"
Education means nothing in light of being informed by factual information.
