Reasons today sucks. . . .

1. I'm turning 35
2. I'm single
3. I need a new roommate SOON and no one is replying to my ads.
4. I'm broke (see item 3).
5. I'm bored and lonely (see item 2).
6. I'm stuck in a dead end job with no real options at this point (thank you Mr. Bush).
7. My country is being destroyed by a dipshit artificial Texan from Connecticut and his puppeteers and clingers-on.
8. I have to work on my birthday (see items 1 and 6 above).
9. My cat scratched my nose this morning and now I have a big red mark right down the center of my nose.

10. My roommate that needs to be replaced (per item 3) left the apartment in a mess (despite his assertions that he "cleaned" it), and ever dish in the place has a thin film of grease and filth on it that needs to be cleaned.

Reasons today doesn't suck. . . .

1. I bought new curtains for the living room (4 windows worth) for only $16 at Building 19 (a clearance house/discount store for all you non-Massachusettes people).
2. My cat is super friendly, despite his affinity for nos scratching.
3. . . . . well there is no 3 right now, today sucks :).

If it's any consolation I'm also working a dead-ender. Scuttlebutt has it we're merging with another company in approx 3 months and we will not be needed any further. And my co-worker won this (ahem brown lipstick) award yesterday and gloated about it all day long. And continues today.
